1. What information we collect
We may collect:
- Contact and identity details: your name, salon or business name, email address, phone number, and billing and delivery addresses.
- Account information: username, password (stored encrypted), order history, and your trade or wholesale account status including any ABN you supply.

- Enquiry and communication records: messages you send us by web form, live chat, email, SMS, telephone or social media, and our responses.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring website, searches you run on our site, and time spent on pages. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we collect it
We collect personal information:
- directly from you, when you place an order, create an account, apply for a trade or wholesale account, complete a form, subscribe to marketing, contact us, or visit our Tullamarine premises;
- automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use our website;
- from third parties, including our advertising and analytics providers, where you have interacted with our advertising.
3. Why we collect and use it
We use your personal information to:
- process, fulfil and deliver your orders, and handle returns, exchanges and warranty claims;
- verify eligibility for trade, wholesale and professional-only products;
- provide customer service and respond to your enquiries;
- send you marketing communications where you have opted in, and let you opt out at any time;
- measure and improve the performance of our website and our advertising;
- meet our legal, taxation and record-keeping obligations;
- detect and prevent fraud.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site function, remember your cart and preferences, and help us understand how the site is used.
We use the following third party services:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC), to understand how visitors use our website.
- Google Ads (Google LLC), to measure the performance of our advertising and to show you relevant advertisements.
- Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Meta Platforms, Inc.), to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and to show you relevant advertisements.
- Microsoft Advertising (Microsoft Corporation), to measure the performance of our advertising.
Data matching for advertising measurement. So that we can measure our advertising accurately, we may share a securely hashed version of your email address or phone number with Google and Meta. Hashing irreversibly scrambles the information, so these providers cannot read your actual contact details. They use it only to determine whether an advertisement led to a purchase or enquiry, and to build advertising audiences. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices. You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at adssettings.google.com, and manage Meta advertising through your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. Please note that disabling cookies may affect how parts of our website work.

We may disclose your personal information to:

- our payment providers, including Stripe and Afterpay, to process payment;
- our IT, hosting, email, customer relationship management and analytics providers, who host or process data on our behalf;

6. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. Direct marketing
If you have opted in, we may send you marketing about our products, promotions and education. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any marketing SMS. You can also contact us directly to opt out. We will action opt-out requests promptly.
